INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPORTING CLAYS AND FOR HUNTING

The course of instruction includes discussions, demonstrations, and practice of stance, weight distribution, mounting, swing, and pointing with both eyes open. Shooting will take place in a variety of areas, using clay targets to demonstrate incoming, outgoing, and crossing birds plus simulations of drive grouse, ducks over blinds and flushing quail and pheasants. 

You will learn everything from shot size and chokes through “the basic fundamental checklist” that will allow you to become your own instructor in the field.

Join former national champion marksman Glen Pearce and Olympic team gunsmith Jim Carter as they guide you through techniques for trigger squeeze, range & bullet drop estimation, wind doping sight in, dry firing, and fitting your rifle.
